Short version: we keep your email and Google profile, the photos you upload, the clips we render for you, and the record of what you paid. Renders happen at third-party model providers. Nothing is sold, and you can have all of it deleted by writing to us.

Who is responsible

GenTrend (gentrend.ai) operates this service and decides what happens to the data described here — in legal terms, we are the controller. Write to support@gentrend.ai about anything on this page.

What we collect

From Google, when you sign in: your email address, your name and your profile picture. We never receive your Google password, and we ask Google for nothing else — no contacts, no Drive, no calendar.

When you sign in with a password instead: the email address you typed in yourself and a salted hash of the password — never the password itself. The code that sets or resets it is good for ten minutes and is stored as a hash, never in readable form.

The photos you upload: the single frame each render starts from.

The clips we render for you, and the record of each render — which shot, which model tier, the length, the credits charged, the status and the timestamps.

Payment records: order id, amount, credits granted, status and time. Card numbers and wallet addresses stay with the payment provider; they never reach us.

Ordinary technical data produced by hosting: IP address, browser, and request logs, kept briefly for security and debugging.

We run no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on this site.

Why we use it

To render your clips and show them back to you — that is the contract between us, and it is why the photo and the clip exist at all.

To keep an accurate credit balance and payment history, which is both part of the contract and an accounting obligation.

To prevent abuse — uploads of other people’s faces, illegal content, payment fraud. That is our legitimate interest and, for content involving minors, a legal duty.

To answer your support mail, and to comply with the law when we are properly required to.

Who else touches it

reAPI — the model provider behind most of what we make: Seedance 2.0, Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2. Your uploaded frame and the prompt are sent there and to the model that renders them; without this step there is no service.

Runware — the model provider for Seedance 2.5 and Seedream, on the same terms.

fal.ai — our second model provider, and the storage the finished files live in.

Google — sign-in, and Gemini: when you ask for an analysis, the clip you uploaded goes there to be read.

Cryptomus — payments, including the parts of the transaction we never see.

CryptoBot — payments in cryptocurrency, made inside Telegram. It receives the amount and our order id; the wallet the money comes from stays on its side.

Neon — the database that holds accounts, balances and generation records. Vercel — hosting and the request logs that come with it.

Each of these acts on our instructions and gets the minimum it needs. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Where it is stored

Data is stored in the European Union and in the United States, depending on the provider, and a render runs wherever the operator of that model runs it — for Seedance 2.0, in China. Where personal data leaves the EU, we use standard contractual clauses wherever the provider offers them.

How long we keep it

Uploaded frames: deleted 30 days after the render. They live that long only so a failed or disputed render can be re-run.

Clips: kept while your account exists, so that your library works. Delete a clip and it is gone within 7 days, backups included.

Generation records without the image — shot, tier, cost, status, time: kept while the account exists. This is what makes your credit history auditable.

Payment records: kept as long as accounting law requires, typically six years, even after the account is deleted. Records of money cannot be erased on request.

Technical logs: 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correction of anything wrong, deletion, a machine-readable export, or that we stop a particular use. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.

To delete your account and everything attached to it, write to support@gentrend.ai from the address you signed in with. Deletion is completed within 30 days and we confirm it by email.

Deleting the account forfeits any unspent credits — if you have a recent unused pack, ask for the refund first (see the Terms).

Cookies

One cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is required for the service to work, it is not used for advertising, and there is no tracking pixel here. That is also why there is no cookie banner to click away.

Children

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18, and photos of minors may not be uploaded at all. If you believe a minor has an account or appears in an upload, write to support@gentrend.ai and we will remove it.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Uploads and finished clips sit behind unguessable URLs on the provider’s storage, and the database is reachable only by the application. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes — a new processor, a longer retention period, a new purpose — are emailed to the address on your account.
